Is it possible to use POST instead of GET when using a dynamic image background?

By using a "dynamic image" as an object background, one is allowed to use a QlikView expression which evaluates to the URL of an image that is displayed as the object background. This method is used for example to use google maps in QlikView. Unfortunately, even if there is no defined limit to the length of an URL, in practice all servers and browsers have one and prevent the use of longer URLs (a few thousands characters at most). Given that an expression can evaluate to a much longer text, using POST method instead of GET to retrieve an image would avoid such a limitation. Unfortunately I did not find anything related to that in QlikView...

Do you know any method or workaround that would allow to send much more data to a remote server than can fit in an URL in order to get an image?
