Is there any way in which I can open an application’s particular tab from another application?

Hello,

Is there any way in which I can open an application’s particular tab from another application?

For example:

• Test2.qvw has 3 sheets- A,B and C.
• I’m clicking on button/text box ‘A’ in Test.qvw and this should open up the first application’s (Test2.qvw’s) sheet named ‘A’ and if I’m clicking on ‘B’ button/text box in Test.qvw it should open up Sheet ‘B’ of Test2.qvw and so on…

I also want all the other sheets to be visible and not just that Sheet which I have selected. (Currently I’ve managed to open up the required sheets but then the remaining sheets are hidden)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi try like this.

Attached two documents. The second document calls the first document. Clicking on the button "A" "A" sheet opens, etc.

Sorry, didn't see that all lists should be visible. Try this option, but there's a macro.

You can pass parameters within the URL including the sheet name e.g.

e.g. http://myserver//QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=DocumentName.qvw&sheet=SH01
