QlikView 12 - Document Properties Help Text Pop Ups

I'm struggling to find any current info on, and info for QV 12, as to whether or not the Help Text Pop Ups feature in Document Properties on the General tab is expected to work; from what I can tell it does not.  Can anyone shed any light on this feature or if there as some workarounds?  Thanks.

 

I've tried the Font, Background Color and Icon settings and none of them render correctly, nor consistently based on where viewing the pop ups. 

Here are my results: 

(1) Viewing in QV Desktop - Web mode OFF

  - Font - everything works but color

  - Background Color - does not work

  - Icon - does not work

(2) Viewing in QV Desktop - Web mode ON --OR-- in Access Point

  - Font - nothing works

  - Background Color - does not work

  - Icon - does not work

On a (a little outdated version of QV 12), I do get this in desktop mode:

I am not surprised that webview / Ajax does not work.
