I am unable to see more than 999 characters in a string when I connect to the DB2 database using ODBC Drivers.
To prove my point, I created a same string in a Sybase database and pasted the data in an Excel sheet. To my surprise, Sybase returned only 511 characters when connected using ODBC Data Direct Drivers and Excel displayed everything when connected directly using Table option.
Is this already known to other users? OLEDB works fine with DB2 Database, but since our servers do not support OLEDB connectivity, we need to figure a way out for this.
Any inputs, help and comments are highly appreciated.
I'm also experience a very similar problem. I'm connecting to Oracle database using ODBC and I'm retrieving a clob. but Qlikview cuts the value at around 511 characters.
Is there a way around this? (within Qlikview)
