Test on bars / data points in a Gant Chart

I've got a gantt chart I've created. The client has asked if I can put text on the blocks / data points / bar (i.e. the red boxes) that represents each step. Ideally I'd like the first letter of the first and third word (i.e. VAT RETURN SETTLED = VS). However the best I could do is "Values on Data Points" against the latest date not on the block and more importantly only on the line not each block. Any ideas if this is possible?

I think you don't need the dual-stuff else your origin approach should if you changed the display-option for the values like here:

It could be done with a dual(string, value) expression combined with a condition like Dim = max(Dim). I assume that there is an appropriate example within the files from: Files-for-creation-of-a-Gantt-chart.

There doesn't appear to be anything in the recipe. The closest is the staggered gantt chart example but I need to have a stacked chart as I'm creating a calendar.  Any change you can expand on what you mean as I'm not familiar with dual(string, value) etc ?

I just thought by the pictures that there is something like this included but it wasn't. Therefore take a look on the example here: Legend-at-end-of-lines-on-line-chart which should be adaptable to a barchart, too.

I'm really struggling to get this to work.  Row 3 is my Text I want displaying. Rows 5 to 7 is the other expression I'm trying to mimic. Which is essentially the same as the example but I only get my text on the last data point not all of them.

Frustratingly it appears someone once posted an example of what I want but the external link is broken 😞
