Transparent button on chart

Hello

I have a transparent button on a straight table to implement actions that are generally not available on a qlikview chart.

I have set this transparent buttons' property so that it is always on top and straight table on bottom.

This works on first time but when clicked, navigated to different sheet and coming back to the page, the straight table takes over the transparent button even if the layering set.

Not sure if I'm missing any other proerty.

I would like the button to be on the top always.

Hi,

have a look at the Layer option in the design tab of the button's properties. Maybe setting it as Top Layer will help.

Yes I have set the layering option. It works first time but navigating to different sheet and coming back it loses the layering

I think you dont save the document after setting properties.

set the properties, and close the document and open again, let see how it goes..

Hi Kash,

Go to Layout Tab of button and in layer select custom and give 100 and

do the same in your stright table and make sure it is set to a number less than 100 say some 2 or 3..

It should help to keep it on the top..

Hi Sundar

The straight table has a custom layer set to -120 and transparent button set to 120. This keeps the button on top of  straight table in the first instance. When clicked on the button, navigated to a diferrent sheet and coming back - the straight table takes over the button even if it's set to -120.
