Tree View Hierarchy Associativity

HI all,

I have built hierarchies in tree view format but don't know how to show the associativity (highlight the related field ).

attached is pic where i have data FMS CONN->Total Channel> Week 1 but all weeks have data but it doesn't highlight all weeks associated with FMS->Total Channel.

Please share your exp.

If you want to be able to make selections in any level in the tree-view list box, you need to have one record per node in the data model. See http://community.qlik.com/blogs/qlikviewdesignblog/2013/11/11/unbalanced-n-level-hierarchies

The bottom line is that unless you have the data loaded as an unbalanced n-level hierarchy, the tree-view list box is not suitable.

Yes... i have one record for each node in data model but problem comes

Parent Group     Channel          Week1

Parent           Tot Chnl               100

Child1            Tot Chnl               30

Child2               Tot Chnl               70

Now in list box if i select Child1 -> Total  Chl-> Week 1 i get 30 and same for child 2 i get 70 which is right but when i select Parent -> Tot Chnl -> week 1 i get 200 (I sud get only 100). this is happening coz parent has 100 + child 1 has 30 + child 2 has 70 = 200.

How to remove addition or just show Parent data only fetching from data model ?????
