URL to a specific dashboard on Accesspoint

Hello,

We have around 10 dashboards on our accesspoint. I want to give users a link to specific dashboard instead of them going to accesspoint and selecting the dashboard.

Is there a way to give Accesspoint URL to user so that he/she can directly open a specific dashboard from those 10 dashboards?

Thank you!

Hi Rob,

I got couple additional questions:

1. I Is it possible to send a dashboard available on  QlikView Accesspoint as an email attachment to user?

2. Is there a way in QMC to send email notification to user after the reload completion ,with the direct link to a specific dashboard in the email?

Please advise

Thanks much!

Do you have Publisher?  If you have QV Publisher you can do both of those items.

Just a little further help in addition to Rob's last post for you:

Email distribution:

Notification:

To Rob's main point though, this will require a Publisher license...

Oh, and another method of getting the URL, that will actually use the AccessPoint.aspx page call instead of OpenDoc.htm, which can be handy sometimes, in the AccessPoint page, click the View Details link for the app you wish to grab the link from, then on the client type you want to launch, right click that hyperlink and copy it, that will be a call through the AccessPoint.aspx page, which may work better in some cases.

Brett
