Why can't I resize an empty textbox? How to do that?

Hi,

I've had this issue a few times:

When I have an empty and transparent textbox, with just a visible frame, so I can later fit several objects inside, I cannot resize that. It remains stuck to whatever size was first selected for it.

How can I do that?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Hi DataNibbler,

just tested in QV 10 and it worked. Maybe you have deactivated some object- or sheet-options?

I've had this issue myself.

Try first resizing it using drag & drop with your mouse. Then afterwards try using the values in the Caption tab

Re: Why can't I resize an empty textbox? How to do that?

Hi,

I've made it, but I'm not 100% sure how - I think I just dragged the frame to the approximate size and then used the drop-down lists.

It's a bit strange that the drop-down lists wouldn't work at first, but only after I had manually dragged and resized the textbox ...

Well, anyway, this is solved.

Thank you!
