getting records from unassociated data

HI,

I have a table, in which I am showing a category name, a calculated value, and an extracted value (from an excel file) for that category.

My problem is that when filtering, the calculated value is not available, and so the extracted value is not being shown as well, since that particular category is not part of the assocuated data.

Is there a way where I can show the extracted value independentely on the filtering being done?

thanks for your reply.

Please find attached a sample file.

In this example I would like that when a Month is selected, all 3 categories would be shown in the 'Sample' table, with the 'Extracted value' column populated with the appropriate values.

ex. Month: "Feb"

Sample:

CategoryName     Calculated value       Extracted value

     Cat1                     -                               16    

     Cat2                     5                              18

     Cat3                    -                                20

i added a set analysis to exclude the selection of Month for Extracted value.
