put before 12 months on a Selected Date from calendar in X-Axis

HI ,

I have a doubt:

I ned to calulated a progress on a Date that user select by Calendar(i associate it to a a Variable vCUTOFFDATE).To calculate a progress on a Data i put in expression "=sum(if(DATEPROGRESS <=vCUTOFFDATE,PROGRESSPERC,0))"

The problem  is that the client ask if it's posible to calculate a PROGRESS on 12 month before and put the progress caluclation in a Line chart.

so, if for example the user selected 12-12-2012 on the x axis shoulb be

01-12-2012, 02-12-2012, 03-12-2012,04-12-2012,05-12-2012,06-12-2012,07-12-2012,08-12-2012,09-12-2012,10-12-2012,11-12-2012,12-12-2012

and in the expression i should calculated progrss based on the Date in the X-Axis

is possible to do this?

first of all many thanks for your help 🙂

i modified the report to have my situation but i can't to do the client requests.

i attach the report as example:

if i select a Date from Calendar(CUTOFFDATE), for example 15-02-2012, in my line Line chart in X-Axis I should have a progres of the Job calulated on :

15-02-2011,15-03-2011,15-04-2011,....etcc until 15-02-2012, Whle now I have only 15-02-2012,

U have taken CUTOFFDATE(Variable) as Dimension, It should be Trn_Date in Dimension and then Select Date from calender.

If i Put the Trn_Date in X Axis I have only the Date that are present in Trn_Date List.

But I slove the problem in another way:

In Load Script i generate a Tabel with a all Date from 1990 to 2020 and call this field  DATE_BEFORE.

when I choose the CUTOFFDATE i create a macro that filter the filed DATE_BEFORE only in the before 12 months of CUTOFFDATE.

So, when i put the DATE_BEFORE in The Line Chart all works good.

I attach my solution can help someone.
