I'm able to open the document from the "Open from server" functionality in Qlikview Desktop but when I try to open the doc from my browser I get the following message:"Access denied! The server (QVS) has no USER CAL for your account. Please contact your system administrator!".
My Desktop copy is correctly licensed so I'm able to open the .qvw once locally downloaded.
Furthermore the "open from server" doesn't help because I see most of the data are blank/missing.
Is there some checks I could do on the Management Console?
Yeah, ensure that user account has a Named User CAL allocated. Check QMC > System Licenses > QlikView Server > Client Access Licenses (CALs) Assigned CALs tab. Does your account have an assigned Named User CAL?
