What Licenses can be used without having a Server.

Hi Guys,

My company is thinking into going into Qlikview, but to begin with, we would only purchase one Local Client License (for the person Developing) after the report has been developing what is the best and cheapest way to have people to just view the QV Report, make selections etc.

Can the Session CAL be bought without a QV Server?? Is there any other options?

Yes,

you can host Application With SBE.

It has few limitations

Limited to 25 Named and 1000 Document Cal and No session CAL supported here.

If you wan't session CAL then you need to go with EE.

Either Enterprise Edition or SBE you have to Purchase Cals.

You need to have Named Cal with you in-order to showcase your solution to Clients

or

you can request a temporary Licence key from you partner.
