Accesspoint document links not working

Hello,

I have a strange problem at customer's AP. I have 6 applications that are distributed once an hour to a test group. They are published to a "Test" category from a dedicated folder under production sourcefiles.

The documents are shown in AP as usual but when clicked, nothing happens. I can see that the link that the AP generates is faulty and points nowhere. The link looks something like this: http://server/qlikview/index.htm#. I can work around this by choosing "View details" and selecting "Full browser version."

When I switch to for example "Default" category that holds most of the documents, everything works fine.

This might be a trivial problem, but I am not very experienced with the management console and I haven't found an answer to this yet.

Any suggestions?

The issue for us was that the default client for users was set to IE plugin and the document was only published to AJAX. This caused the accesspoint link to be blank when trying to open the documents.

By changing the default client to AJAX to all users, the links started to work.

Please access the files in different browsers and post the results.

Hi,

Only browsers that are used are IE8 and IE9. The problem is the same in both.

Someone suggested that there might be a problem with publishing two versions of the applications with the same name (the production ones and the development versions for test group) and this would mess up the publishing tasks some how?

This problem happens over here too. Does anybody know the solution to the original problem, as mentioned above?

Update: found the problem. AJAX was not enabled for the particular document. (set Full Browser and Small Device Version at QEMC for that document)
