Cannot start QlikView Distribution Service - Error 1067

Hello Everyone,

I am not able to start QlikView Distribution service. Error "Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly" pops up. Also it is noticed that yesterday the machine ran out of disk space and had crashed resulting in failure of reload tasks in QMC. Is it because of this that I am not able to start the service?

Attached is part of the log file.

Any help on this is highly appreciated!

What is your .NET Framework Version?

It is v4.0

Then it is nothing to do with .NET Framework.

Hi Varun,

Thanks for providing the link. I went through it, but couldn't find the solution (problem is: I don't see the paths specified by many in my machine.)

Any other suggestion?

Hi,

I'll think you need to increase the size of the disc. Distribution create logfiles and tempfiles before/after the distribution, so disc is needed.

%ProgramData%\QlikTech\DistributionService maybe include tempfiles that could be deleted.

Thanks for your suggestion. Issue was solved after starting the load counter as mentioned in the below thread!
