Solved: Change alert text on the Access Point - Qlik Community

Hi

Does anyone know if it is posible to change the text of the alerts/popups that are shown on the Access Point?

By alerts / PopUps I mean f.x. "Login Failed" or "Server failed to set licence"

I want to change the text to Danish and to include a short guide on what the user have to do.

Hi,

you can try to change the file accessPoint.js in this folder: C:\Program Files\QlikView\Web\js. You have to open this file with notepad and looking for "Login Failed". You can search in another files in web folder for some alerts.

Please make bakup before you change the original files.

Hi Dimitri

Thanks for your feedback. It is very usefull even though I don't know if I will recomend my client to follow that road and start changing the program files.
