Error Message in QLikview Server Log

Hello,

we received several times the following error message this morning

Document Load: The document XXXXXXXXXXqvw failed to load for unknown reasons (e=14) [-1].

we user Qlikview server 12.10 sr8

does anybody have an idea ?

Hi Olivier,

Verify that your QVWs that are showing this error are generating log, by enabling it in the "Document Properties" and  reload them manually. Afterwards, check if they ran without any errors to check if it's a document or server issue first.

That way you'll narrow it down a little.

the problem is that this error does not occur during generation of the qvw but when users try to access it

errno 14 in Windows-land means ERROR_OUTOFMEMORY. Unfortunately that could mean anything. Have you checked available RAM when the QVS tries to load a problem document for the first time?

the server has 1 Tbyte and approximatively 70% available

This may be a transient problem, often solved by restarting the server machine, or just the QVS if that would save you some time. Is it the first time you are experiencing this problem?

If it doesn't go away voluntarily, you may want to contact Qlik Support. "unknown reasons" are more their kind of meat...

it's not the first time. the solution is to reload the .qvw

But, as we recently migrated to this huge new server, i hoped this problem won't occur any more
