How to get input from user for dashboard

1.I want make a dash board  like user will enter from and to dates.For  that period i want project citywise sales on geographical map and all data must be taken from database only  i.e.is there any option for giving dynamic sql queries to qlikview? Dashboard overview image

You can use input boxes to control 2 date variables. You can then use those variables in different expressions as start and end dates.
