How to monitor QV AccessPoint

I'm wondering if there is a way to moniter the availability of accesspoint. Periodically, my qv webserver fails and causes the accesspoint to not be available. Is there a way to notify me that the process is down? This may not be specific to qv, but I'm just wondering what my options are.

I'm not sure if this can help, since your server fails...

but if it is still generating log files, you can track it with this application:

If you are using server v9 there is another application on the community
