Is it possible to automate extraction from website?

Hi,

We are using qv server 11,SBE. No publisher software

There is a qvw I'm working on  ,I download the data for this qvw from a website ,manually reload it then deploy it on the server,.

Is it possible to automate this process, where data is periodically extracted from the website, then loaded into the qvw ( with out using the publisher)

If yes, can someone guide me on how gthis can be done (With examples or a white paper)

Hi,

that should not be a problem if you can access that website from the server that is running QlikView server components. In QV Desktop Editor add that URL using Web Files.. button, put that QV document on the server, define scheduling period and see what will happen. Does website page url start with https or http?
