Hi there,
I set up my QV document to mail reports when you press a button. You can enter the name of the report and an email address and after you press the button it mails the report. However when I put the document on the server the button won't work.
I checked if the settings on the server allowed execution of macro's and both 'allow macro execution' and 'allow unsafe macro execution' are checked. To verify that it would have nothing to do with the script I tried a simple document which shows a messagebox when you push the button but this also fails. Any suggestions?
Thank!
Are you using Ajax or the IE Plugin? Check what the permission level for the document is if you press ctrl+shift+m.
I'm using the Ajax client. The permission levels are set to system access.
I've tried a simpeler macro and it appears that macro's are executed but there is a problem with pop ups and in this case the calling of the pdf printer.
I am using IE plugins
DOCUMENTS:
- in Module: - Requested Module Security - System Access, Current Local Security -Allow System Access
- I did Cltr-Shift-M - Give System Acces to Module Script
SERVER:
- Setup - Security - Allow macro execution on server, Allow unsafe macro execution on server
but still my macro is not working on access point in production macro is working but in access point it is not working.
Please help me please....
Thanks in advance
Sher Bahadur
Macros will run only with IE plugin and not with Ajax clients.
If's it not working with IE plugin, you have to enable a option in MS Office features list.
Thnaks for reply
