Also make sure to backup folder C:\ProgramData\QlikTech before you do the migration to version 10. There has been a change in the folder structure between version 9 and 10. So if you, for some reason, would like to downgrade to version 9 this is not possible if not having a backup of this folder from version 9.
Another tip that might help out - clean your registry when upgrading from 9 to 10. Most of the settings that were stored in the registry in QV 9 are now in a settings.ini file in QV 10, so it is okay to clean out HKEY>local machine >software>QlikTech and HKEY>Current user > software > QlikTech.
