Migration from 11.20.12018.0 to most Recent Version

I want to install the most recent version of QlikView but i dont know if my apps get affected, I want to keep them working in this new version.

What I need to do this?

There are some PDF refrences of what I need to do step by step or somethin like that?

Hi,

What I see is you have  11.20SR3

and migration from 11.2 sr3 to 11.2 sr8 is straight forward.

You just have to run the installer --> Click next --> next --> Next and finish.

But Prior to that to be on a safe side. I suggest you to take backup of QlikView end user folder and source folder if any

(in case you have publisher)

Take backup of C:\Programdata\QlikTech folder

After upgrade just make sure to restart QlikView server once.

Hello Raul,

I updated some months ago to the new version and didn't find any side effects. Everything worked to me in this new version.

Hi,

Go through the attached document that will help in in migration process.

Note:

Latest version is 11.2 sr8 try that instead of 11.2 sr7.

Thisone is so good to!.

But if I already have the SERVER 11 installed?

Its the same instruction as the 10?

With a  backup do you refer to a simply Ctrl + C , Ctrl + V?
