QMC Frozen

Hi All,

Facing an issue where i could not see any task running in QMC and for all the tasks status is waiting and last exeecution is coming as never. buti am trying to run manually as well it is not running.

Would need some help to track what went wrong and how we can fix it.

Change the chunk size to "20". After changing it restart all the services.



ChunkSize can be found in the QV Management Service Config file:

C:\Program Files\QlikView\Management Service\QVManagementService.exe.config

    <add key="QMSChunkSize" value="100"/>

Manish,

Check your all service , should be running.If not please restart your all services and check.

Hi Manish,

did this suddenly just all stop one day? If so maybe have a look at your license keys, could have reached expire date and need to renew

Hi,

which kind of schedule did you set for the documents?

Can you paste a screenshot of QMC --> Documents --> (select one document) --> right panel?

License is Active till Oct

Hi Simone,

Issue is for all Task irrespective of scheduled or not Scheduled.

If i want to run a task manully(QMC) even then not working.

when ever i am running the task in distribution logs getting:

ErrorCould not start task; Task not found. TaskID=7f94fa5f-b6af-48e6-86b3-17c6c4904f3a

i am able to track the last log of Managment Services:

Right after this time we are facing this issue, now want to undertsand why is it and what is the resolution.

Look at

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\Tasks

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\Triggers

and see inside the files in Tasks the path. Verify it.

Did you change any network configuration, or server name?
