QV10 to QV11 license error on server name more than 15 characters

We had a customer perform a system upgrade from QV10 to QV11.  Their system has a long server name (17 chars, all alpha).  When we went to update the license, whe got an error message idnicating that the Server failed to set the license.  As a result, the customer cannot open the documents because the cals are not available.

We did a complete uninstall of QV11, removed the ProgramData\QlikTech folder and re-installed.  Installation went ok, but we still get the same message when trying to apply the license.

Has something changed between v10 and v11 where long system names no longer work?  This has the potential of affecting a number of our customers out in the field.

The Problem is the Server Name as it is not a valid NetBIOS Name (NetBIOS name is 16 ASCII characters). You also get a Windows Warning when you change the name. Change the name and it will work.

Did that change in QV11, seeing as the longer name worked in QV10
