(QV11SR1) The AJAX-client gives me a "No connection" (popup-window in the browser) error after a while.
The IE-plugin works fine, even if the AJAX-client refuses to do its work.
When I restart the QV-server"-service", the problem is gone (for a while) and the users can access their dashboards via AJAX.
Has anybody experienced the same problem?

I would check the session log and see what it is showing for the disconnect. This could be just a session timeout after the user has been idle for a while.
