SSO When Client App not in QlikView Server

Hi there,

I wonder anyone can help me.  I am new to this QlikView.  I have problem to establish SSO when fidder (client app) is outside QlikView Server.  Instead of pass through, the windows security dialog box is triggered.

I have followed the Qlikview 10 Accesspoint SSO.pdf and configure our QVS to DMS mode and using QVUSER http header.  I am able to establish SSO within QlikView server.  After submitting the http header by local fidder, I can connect to the corresponding Accesspoint browser page without invoke the windows security dialog box.

We are using QlikView Server v10 SR3 in Windows 2008 R2 enterprise server.

Many thanks in advance,

Eric.

Hi Ben,

I am not sure I can help.  I went for the ticketing option at the end.  The main issue in my situation is the environment where the QVS/QVWS installed.  The server must be in a domain and, as you said, the privileges the domain service account.  In the installation, choose the IIS option only and not install the cut down QVWS windows service at all.  It may complicate the issue.  Aparently, QV 11 server has resolved some SSO issues.

I hope it help.

Eric.

Hello,

I have to call .aspx page (on server 2) from .aspx page (on server 1) passing QVUSER with http header.

I tried to use Response.Redirect but all the http header are cleared before executing the statement.

How can I achieve it in a asp.net portal ?

I need to pass the user identity to QVWS.

Please let me know.

Many Thanks

Best regards
