Session timeout on export to Excel Ajax mode qlikview


Hi,

our users getting session time out on export to excel.but i am able to export it,.

we are using qlikview Server 10 sr4 and client build no is 10.0.9282.8

can anyone suggest what might be region.

is there any work around for this.

Two questions:

  • Are those Excel exports exceeding the Session Timeout configuration value (see QMC)? Then try to increase it and see if it helps.
  • What do the logs say about this issue?

BTW Windows Bitmaps are awfully large (to download) and offer no advantage over other compressed formats. You can use Paint to convert them to JPG before uploading them to the community.

actually its running at my end from access point

but its give error to user.

its not exceeding time limit

Hi Sunil,

Make sure the QlikView Server is added to Trusted sites in Internet Explorer, or Local intranet.

If that doesn't help, try with your account on their machine, in order to understand whether it is user-specific or machine-specific. Might also be browser issue.

Have you looked over timeout settings as Peter suggested?

You mention using Webview? Do you mean that you open document with Desktop Client or AJAX from Accesspoint?

And what client are other users using when the problem  occur?
