The QlikView Distribution Service service hung on starting.

"The QlikView Distribution Service service hung on starting".  I am getting this error. I tried removing .net framework 4.5 from the system. Since then i am gettring this error. can anybody help me?

What does the error log show? This can be caused by stuck performance counters.

you can also try with renaming  QlikView Distribution Service folder located under %appdata% , dont delete it, rename.

Which version of QlikView server is installed?

On which type of machine is it running (O.S. version and SP)?

Qlikview needs .Net Framwork. At least 4.0. Why remove it?

Have you tried to do a repair of the installation after the remove of the framework (if 4.0 is still on the system)
