Can anyone help me with this please?
We are having a new server and need to move all the files from old server ServerA to the new server ServerB as well as all the objects that users have created.
On the old server, a full user name is like: ServerA\User1 and this user has created a object. He can see the object in the sheet and under My Object by pressing F2 in a QV document.
I used the Server Object Handler from Power Tool to rename the owner of this object to ServerB\User1. And then I copied the qvw.Share file to the new server.
This user now can see the object in the new server but only under My Object. So when he first time open the qv file, he cannot see the object in the sheet. He has to go to My Object by pressing F2 and from there he double clicks the object. Then the object can display in the sheet.
Is there anyway to show the customized objects in the front sheets just as what they are in the old server?
