Which Windows drive is more optimal to install QlikView Server?

Hello all,

as your exprience, which windows drive is more optimal (best performance) for QlikView Server ? Install in the same drive with windows system (Drive C: ) or separately install in another drive (ex : Drive 😧 or Drive E:) ? Or there are no any effect to the performance of QVS? Thanks.

Regards,

Heri

Hi Heri,

That should not affect performance, actually is quite usual to have applications in one drive (say C:) and documents, configuration and so in another drive, in order to make some backups and recoveries.

Are you noting something different?

Thanks Miguel for your response,

I Installed QVS in drive C:, then everytime I access my QVW from access point, the memory is up very fast and the performance is quite slow. This different when I access from the QV PE. The performance is better and not slow than I direct access from access point. So I think, do I need to separately install the QVS in another drive for better performance.

Do you have any recommend?
