Hi Guys,
I need strong arguments to explain (and convince) my organization why they NEED to buy QlikView SERVER...
I also need to understand which are the differences between SBE and EE Server?
Thanks in advance,
Aldo.
If you need different User those who are not involved in development they can go for server.
In Server You have different DOC CAL and NAMED CAL that can be assign to users , which inturn effect the Rates/Cost price too .
It will be also cheaper in comparision to different license.
SBE abd EE are 2 tyoes of servers available.
SBE is for small bussiness org. and EE for Big Enterprise.
You can further read the manual or search in Forum many post are available on same topic.
Hi Aldo,
First at all is the ability to work many users concurrently.
Having server edition, you can easily set up the reload task to start automatically.
There is many other functionalities that you can find in the QlikView Server Manual.
Best regards,
Janusz

Thanks Fernando. It will clear the diff.
So, I understand that with a SBE Server I can publish my model on iPhone & throw the internet?
Thanks a lot.
Aldo.
Exactly, in version 8.5 that was not possible. Only with QlikView Server EE. But now it´s possible.
Hi Fernando, are you sure SBE supports iPAD client? Actually I can not connect to a SBE server on iPAD (I always get a "no connection" error). But it is OK for EE server.
Yes, I'm sure this manual for QlikView Server.
