After performing a scheduled restart of the QlikView Server hardware, the following error was captured in the events log several times...
131 | Error | Failure when creating document directory ("There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.") |
Has anyone seen this before? We've been running this server for several years, and this is the first time experiencing this issue.
Restarting the QVS resolved the issue, but I'd like to understand why it happened in the first place.
Any assistance would be appreciated,
B
sorry for the late update .. the issue was due to SSL configuration in IIS Crypto. Thanks.
Hi,
Are you using a network share to store you documents? If so this could be the cause of your problem. If the share is not available when QVS starts up it will fail.
Bill
Yes, we are using a SAN to store the user documents, but communication didn't fail.
There were no error messages on the SAN at that time. Also, we send a timestamp every minute to the SAN from the the QlikView server, and it there wasn't any interuption in that log file.
Is there anything else it might be?
B
Yes, we are using network attached share drive and all services are running fine. please help. thanks.
