Hi Faisal,

Nothing difficult in that 1) take the backup of Qliktech folder in Program data

2) Take the backup for All Applications..

3) Install the Current version..

It will Automatically Apply All Properties licenses from previous Versions

Hope It Helps..

Hi Faisal,

in addition, if you are running qlikview publisher and a complex environment, I will recommend you backup your registry as well, if you are on a virtual machine, please take a snapshot.

and if you are running IIS please take a screenshot of all the settings, application pool, default site or Qlikview site, the authentications on folders etc...

In 11, Qlikview still wrote to the registry, upgrade to 11.2 will change these keys and an eventual rollback might be a pain.

Any Major issues that we should expect?  i presume it does overwrite any changes to data file of config files in binary or data area for all qlik services.

this is correct, therefore it is important that in addition to what I already mentioned you keep in mind Koti's reply
