Alternatives for QlikView Publisher

Hi all,

What are alternatives, like other / 3rd party tooling, for QlikView Publisher if I want to publish PDF reports by e-mail?

Sorry guys, lack of time and some laziness did prevent me from doing some research first...

First of all I probably need two different QlikView licenses to publish QV PDF reports by e-mail:

- QlikView Publisher Server

- QlikView PDF Report Distribution Server

So that is a lot of money for the required functionality when just having a SBE deployment I suppose so I found some alternatives:

- Nprinting / Vizubi: http://www.vizubi.com/nprinting/

- QlikView Reporting - Add-on / CIAPartners: http://www.ciapartners.com/1qlikview-reporting.aspx

Any idea how their pricing relates to QlikView?

Another alternative, which is mentioned a lot on this community, is to solve it with macro's. I think I will give this one a try when I found the time to work on it though...

Hi Bjorn.

There is also "Nprinting Tool in Market with cheap cost.Mainly used for Qlikview or other Bi reports.

I have used this and its working good with Qlikview.Its send the reports in pdf formatand ,also too many feature.

Hi,

I'm using macro functionality and i'm quite satisfied. Macro and win sheduled tasks together give may opportunities. (i dont use pdf today, but html and xls are running ok)

With this tool you can send reports as pdf(also show the graph with color as in your chart),use the filter,bookmarks,security,encription and all process for doing this is easy and process  is available on net.You can send the mail with multiple user wirh different report with scheduling as you want.

Hi, Bjorn.

The price of NPrinting varies according to the country and supplier but, typically, you are looking at 35 - 50% the price of Publisher and that would be for the Enterprise edition which includes all NPrinting functionality (even less for the Standard edition).
