Creating a Dynamic Bar and Line Chart

Hello Qlikviewers I have a report that I'm trying to emulate within Qlikview and it looks like the following...

Now what I have currently is this...

Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

As you can see despite my valiant efforts my attempts, so far have failed.

As you can see on the first chart the x axis is sorted by Month i.e Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr and so fourth.

There is then a different colour for each year for every bar and line.

Any ideas how I can do this?

You should get a little closer when you use two dimensions Month, Year instead of order Year, Month.

Regarding your month value order:

Your Month field should contain dual values:

Data Types in QlikView

For example, if you create the Month field values using Month(DateField) function, you can just order the field values numeric.

Ok it looks a lot better as you can see below

However, I still need to separate the bars and lines and colour them differently.

Is this possible?

Should be possible. I would think that you get the requested distinct colors per Year by default, when using default settings in the combo chart. Have you applied any special settings for bar coloring?

Could you post a sample QVW?
