Customizing the Log-in page

Hello,

I am looking for the way to customize the Log-in page my users are seeing when they are openning the application from the AccessPoint.

By default the simple dialog pop-ups with "Userid" and "Password" entries along with OK and Cancel buttons.

Is it possible to change the text above and add some icon/bitmap to this dialog?

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Best regards,

Vladimir

The login Box is a function of Windows and not QlikView. There isn't anyway I know to change that.

Bill,

Thanks for you comment.

I was hoping that QV is using some external form (or HTML file) that could be modified to achive my goal. It's is strange that QV developers decided not to allow this dialog to be adjustable.

Vladimir,

Authentication is done by the OS and not QlikView. This is the default Windows (IE) login box that you will see at any website that is using Windows login. The Developers at QlikView can't modify this.

Bill,

I was referring to main AcceessPoint login example. QEMC allows you to use custom log-in page:

I was hoping similar option would be avaialble for individual QVW log-ins.

These are used for custom login like for Siteminder that you create.

I did a binary search in QV files (executables, dlls, and OCXs) and I've found couple tags there that seems to be calling the QVW's Log-in dialog. This is why I was hoping that these labels are customizable (at least by QV components developers). But of course I am not planning  to modify these binaries for obvious reasons.
