DSC Did not respond to request

Hi Everyone,

Our QMC is working fine for user management (ie add, edit , update user or group). But some time we encounter error with the message  "DSC Did not respond to request" and not responding to do the above activities.

We are using QMC11 in Windows Server 2008.

Can any one help on this. The error request is attached with this thread.

Hi,

It was wrong settings about the LDAP configuration.

The username that you're giving should be machine account and that account's password should be set to Non-Expiry.

Thanks,

Karthi

I've just received this message on a clients server - did you find a reason / workaround for it?

The reason that my client is going for ticketing is because they are expecting more users than they want to have listed on their active directory or an LDAP.  They want to have the user list and the credentials in a database instead.

I think the issue is with the connection properties to the database.

Thanks for your suggestion though.
