Error While installing server in 2 machines

Hi,

I am trying to install Qlikview server in 2 machines without cluster mode.

I installed Qlikview directory service connector, Qlikview server and Qlikview Webserver in one machine (Server1).

In the second machine I installed Qlikview Management service and Distribution service (Server2).

I tried installing using both digital certificate and Administrator group.

All the ports are open between 2 servers.

When I try to give the server1 machine name in the place where management service is installed (server2) for Qlikview server i am getting the below error. I am not able to map..

I tried giving the server1 name in the link machine name - (refer attachment - untitled)  i am not able to map

Have I gone wrong in any of the steps.??

Please help.

hi,

put your system in domain.

create a common user for both server in domain.

user has the permission of Administrator and Qliktech administrator.

run all services using common user.

you can also refer attach doc.

Even That dosent help.

When I give telnet IP, its showing as

could not open connection to the host

check for windows firewall blocking the ports that you need for those services to communicate, for testing purposes I would just shut down the firewall

are you able to ping between both servers ?

dear,

1- uninstall your qlikview server.

2- restart physical server.

3-again install your qlikview server custom installation using running account (Common user)

then check.

4-Some time due to some files corruption this error comes .

i have faced it then i uninstalled whole thing and restart server again installed with common user my QMS automatically started.

Because of that its not working??
