Hi Srikanth,

Right Click on the object You want to Export.

> Copy to Clipboard

> Object/Full Table/ Cell Value

Open a Plain Excel Sheet

>Ctrl+V

This will export Your Object to Excel

Hi,

Not sure if  I understand you correctly. If you want to export objects to excel and not able to do it in a normal way,  you can try creating a button and writing an Action/trigger on it.

About printing reports in pdf format, I think Nprinting is a good option.

Hope this helps!

Sorry but I am not an expert on Nprinting.

Although, I found something on community which may help you in deciding whether to go for Nprinting or not.

"Excel not capturing exact format of QlikView" is not always true. It depends on when your are exporting what from which client. Also, QlikView will only export to .XLS format (BIFF) which brings its own set of limitations. Values and dates will survive the transfer just fine, if your regional settings in both products are the same.

I don't know if this is a problem for you, but "exporting to excel all Values are coming in a single table" seems perfectly logical to me for a single QV object. If you want to export multiple objects on a sheet to a single Excel worksheet, then you'll have to use either a macro or an external tool.

In addition to wat S P said about NPrinting being the right tool for automatically creating and distributing PDF documents, this tool is also able to export to Excel with filtering and formatting, optionally putting multiple objects on a single sheet or even collecting objects from multiple QV documents onto the same sheet. It also outputs to Word and PowerPoint with the same ease. Moreover, NPrinting is a solid product that has proven its worth in Enterprise Environments.

Hi srikanth,

NPrinting is a third party tool, which is used to export Qlikview reports into other formats like word, excel, image, Html, ppt etc. Using this tool you can send the Qlikview reports directly to clients periodically so need to visit the Qlikview dashboard again and again to generate required reports

Hi, Avinash.

Do you mean 'no need to visit' rather than 'need to visit' ?

Cheers,

Neil

Hello,

I've been working with NPrinting for a couple of month now and I must say it's a superb tool. The features and performance are way beyond my expectations so I recommend you to try it. (it comes with a 14 days trail period if I'm not complete wrong). Also you have the full toolbox from both Excel, Word and PowerPoint when you create the reports.

No more macros that doesn't work every day, no more trying to create reports that changes every time they are generated.

Buy it, use it, love it!
