Is there a way to stop a file without restart of Services?

Hi All

I have a quick question.

Is there a tool i can download or something i can do if a qvw is viewed by 30 users in Qlikview Website?

I notice this in the Qlikview Statistics and this slows performance down too much.

This is only accessed by one country so i cannot do limit to 20 documents otherwise the other countries may not be able to view any dashboards.

I want to clear only one qvw so the rest are still accessible.on the web through Qlikview Publisher.

I am Using Qlikview Publisher/Server.

Any ideas or solution would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Adil

Hi

You can try by decreasing Document timeout

OR

Educate end users to close QlikView session by Clicking on close button as shown in the image attached.

Thanks Ashfaq

I decreased Document timeout to 10 mins before but they just log back in...lol

I think educate the users is probably best.

You can also use this Document Extension to automatically end their session once they close the browser tab:

Hiya Chris

This is really helpful!

Thanks

How do i install this?

I copied the folder into Qlikview Server as seen below. Do i have to run anything or does Qlikview Automaticallly pick this up?

Also it mentions open in Qlikview Doc properties

When i go to Qlikview -  Document Properties - where do i go to after? Extensions maybe?

But when i go there there are none available?
