Can you do one thing

go to your application locally now go to just uncheck "Strict Exlcution" in the Opening tab of the Document property.

then check again this in publisher if it works fine then something wrong with data in section access part.

If the error you have detected has to do with Publisher not being able to open the document to reload it, have you checked that the user of the QlikView Services is included in the Section Access?.

If the user of the QlikView Distribution Service is not included, the service won't be able to open the document to reload it and the task will fail.

Hope it helps.

Best regards.

This depends on what kind of security implementation has been done. If there is not data level security implemented, you can try distributing the applicaion from the publisher->task->distribution->Named Users->Access Point-> then you can add the user.

hope this helps.

Hi Shubam,

We have the data level security implemented in the application and thus the app cannot be published as described. Could you please let me know how the data level security can be implemented via publisher if not through section acess

if you remove that section access that application will work

and you can distribute that application to specified user

You can do this with section access. However, you have to make sure the service account has access to all data. If not they publisher will load the data it has access to and this will reduce the data the end users will see.

Also, one thing you can do for testing is change the service account to your login and see if it works there or login to the server as the service account and try to run the application with the QV and see if it works.

Hi Anushree,

In order to implement data level security from publisher you need to go to USER section ->Section Access Management -> then you need to import the section access data into the Section Access Tables area and then you need to add the specified users as required. there you can have the USER level or ADMIN level role. If you given an admin level of access, can see any data of dashboard.

However I can't explain you entire steps of implementing this here but this will walkthru you little far in managing section access thru publisher.

best,

Shubham
