Map the folder to the AccessPoint with particular Category

Hi,

I know how to map the folder to the accesspoint.

so when we place some file, it will be available in the accesspoint directly, no need to publish.

my problem is that, when we do like this, the file comes under category "all" in the accesspoint.

but i want the file to come under my specified category like "Medicine" in the accesspoint.

so how to map the file to accesspoint with category?

Hi,

in QMC go to the User Documents tab and select document for which you want to create new category. In Document Information tab for selected document type new category.

while creating task for reloading  application

there is Document Info option

you can mention your category there.

ex: Sales report inside sales category

collection inside billing category

Thanks for the reply,

I am mapping the folder say C:\AccessPoint\Medicine to the access point by

using QMC.

In the QMC, go to sytem tab->server->QlikView Server-> select server and then go to folder tab, in that there is one option mapping folder, in that i will put this location.

so whenever we place some file in this Medicine folder, then the file will appear in the access point.

we dont have to distribute it to server by using some task.

there it comes under all category in AccessPoint, but it should come under my category say Medical.
