PDF not getting generated using publisher

i am using QV Publisher for generating PDF reports but getting following error while running the job

Any one can help in resolving this issue

First think click  to my mind is do you have PDF Publisher Report distribution Licence with you?

Hi Kushal,

Are you running a Loop and Reduce, or "just" a report?

If "just" a report, does it work in QV Desktop to bring out the report?

i am using it only to distribute the report, earlier it was working fine but all of a sudden i m getting error

i m not reloading the document.

why don't you increase timeout for PDF printer

Locate the file settings.ini found in

            Windows 2008 - C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikViewBatch

           Windows 2003 - C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikViewBatch

Add the setting PDFPrintTimeoutInSeconds in the [Settings 7] section

[Settings 7]

PDFPrintTimeoutInSeconds= 120

Save settings.ini and restart QlikView Distribution Service

You have to set the value which might suits you. I mean you have to try several times until it fixes your issue.

You can even try with setting

<QvsTimeout>60</QvsTimeout>

Can you print to pdf from the desktop edition (i.e. pdf creator working ok?)

i m working with Desktop edition but it is hanged on Printing Report only, nothing is happening

Hi Kushal,

If Desktop hangs as well, you might want to reinstall the PDF printer (PDF X-change 3) to ensure nothing is wrong in general with PDF reports.

Log off and on, try printing a word doc etc to pdf if you can.  Maybe your PDF creator is not working properly?
