Problem with QlikView 9 ServerSR2

Hello

I'm running QlikView Server 9 SR2 64bit on an Windows 2008 SR2 64 bit server. I use the QlikView Distribution Service to reload the files.

The reload process worked fine for 3 months until today. The jobs have started to crash. This i what i get in the log file (TaskLog.txt)

What is strange is that not all jobs crash, and not everytime they run. I tried restarting the services (didn't work), restarting the server (dind't work)

Anybody else had a similar problem?

10x in advance

I solved the problem by setting fewer reloads for each job. I made sure that no more then 5 reloads can run simultaneous and since then no jobs have crashed.

Hello,

Can you help me with the installation of the QVS 9 on WinServer2008 SR2, please? I don't know what to do... do you have a manual of explanation?

Tks.

We are experiencing similar issues, since we are running about up to 10 Jobs in parallel (yes currently, we have to do this).

issues like

Exception=System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80080005):

or

Normal 0 21 false false false DE-AT X-NONE X-NONE

Reload failed because the document could not be opened successfully. DocumentState=DocumentNotFound The task "ABCD" failed. Cause=Errorcount=1 The document failed to open.

However, Windows 2003 R2 SP2 on a 16 core CPU (due to Hyperthreading) with 128GB of RAM should be able to handle this. (.NET installations are up to date (most current Service Packs))

We are not even getting close to the RAM limit. I think RAM peaked around 50GB still leaving plenty of RAM left. CPUs do run at 100% for usually not more than 15 seconds frmo tim to time, so even from that point performance it looks fine.

It's just the errors that are confusing and irritateing. Restarting the jobs manually, after they failed, makes them run through without hassle, but next day again randomly "choosen" jobs seem to fail with the mentioned errors.

So, does anyone have any idea other but "just do not run more than 5 jobs simultaneousely"?! BTW, we are running QV 8.5.

I have the same problem, and think that this is a problem, a bug of Publisher. If you put 10 or 100 documents to reload, they must respect the priority line, and not crash the server.

The surprise is the next day, users very angry about the server, what can I explain to then? We had a problem in the server. They answer: Again!!! Don't you have upgrated your server.

Imagine Guys!
