I have created a report and triggered it with mail and PDF for the users where i added in Custom Directory in Directory services.
But my task schedule is always ending up with a warning. When I checked the log file it says warning comes because the mail cannot be sent. And in here the PDF file also getting generated without any issue.
Try by increase the SMTP timeout in the Mail Server settings in the QMC.
The default is 100 seconds, try by changing it to 1000 seconds.
secondly try to increase the PDF Printer timeout.
To increase the PDF Printer timeout, do the following
• Locate the file settings.ini found in
Windows 2008 - C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikViewBatch Windows 2003 - C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikViewBatch • Add the setting PDFPrintTimeoutInSeconds in the [Settings 7] section
• Save settings.ini and restart QlikView Distribution Service
