Publisher>> Reload Task take failed...

Dear Community members

we are facing an issue, our  Publisher task are hanging.

here is the log file, if one can share the thoughts.........

would be highly appreciated......

Is your Server hosted on SAN?

are you qlikview files reside on shared SAN drive?

Dear Ashfaq,

Actually this problem is with one of our client...

and every thing had been working fine since a year...but last month their license got expired..

and few days back we upgraded their license, and now they are facing this issue,

they are getting this error "failed to open document" as mentioned in the log file.

and task are hanging, after 2, 3 hours they are getting this error...

hope its clear now...

Hi,

I did not answered my question..!

Is your qlikview files reside on shared SAN drive? I would recommend to move it to local server instead of shared folder.

I would check if there is some dependency on qvd's?If yes the I would schedule dependent task.

At the time of reload make sure the same extractind qvd is not used as i/p n some other application.

Make sure you don't have any antivirus software running, If yes make sure to eliminate QlikView content from scanning?

If at all you have any section access, then make sure to provide section access admin credentials while scheduling app in reload tab.

Thanks for reply

No SAN... local server...

regarding your suggestions above, there is no change in the server, due to license expired server was closed, even not running for few days...

but just after upgrading license,we faced this issue...

could be any issue due to license upgrade or server was down since 2, 3 weeks...

Hi,

There shouldn't be any such issue regarding Licence upgrade.

It could be one of above.

Did you try by enabling document log?

did it worked fine i run manually?

works fine from desktop reload...
