Alok,

This is the problem with Access / Permissions with your redepository of Qlikview. Check the same.

if its fine ...

Go to the Control Panel >> Admin. Tools : Make sure QlikView related 4 services are started or not. If not do the needful.

Hope this helpful.

Hello Alok,

The problem is that the Windows service account you have created does not have the correct admin privileges. It needs to belong to the QlikView Administrators group and the (Windows) Administrators group.

What you should have done was created a local user, for example 'QVAdmin', made this a member of the Windows Admin group, ran the install of the server and then used 'QVAdmin' as the local windows account when asked. This will ensure all the QlikView Server services are running with the QVAdmin user. You can still however correct this, if you have not done it, by changing each QlikView service to run with 'QVAdmin'

Once you have made the relevant changes to the services and the user and user group memberships, then you should restart the box (if no restart is possible, then a log-off from windows is enough). If you do not at least log off then the changes made to the services and windows users will not take effect.

In summary:

1. create a QVAdmin windows local user

2. make this part of the QlikView Administrators group and Windows Administrator group

3. run all QlikView server services with the QVAdmin user

4, restart or log off the server

I hope this helps. Please mark as helpful if this has resolved the issue.
