Reload from Server

Dear all,

I have one production server and a development server .

I have my publisher installed on development server ,I am using distribution service of my development server on production server and all my reloads are happening on production server.

I am also using publisher for section access which runs on production server.

I have done scheduling of my qvws ,now all my QVW runs Properly but when i try to get the reload done for the final apps they fail to reload.

1)  As i have section access in those final apps which fail,It might be failing as my account dont have access.

i would like to know what all reasons could be there.

Can this be run through batch and then we can be pasted there ,need a solution where no manual intervention is required.

and if possible please tell a way around so that my final apps dont fail in getting reload from production server.

Thanks,

Sudhanshu Shrivas

Hi,

So your environment is not clustered right?

Then what you said I would do in this case. Reload from developer's box then copy the .qvw file over to production server.

What might be helpful is to attach the log file for the failed application here so the community can look at it then advice you as best fit.

Does the account doing the production reloads have access to the Section Access table(s) in the QMC? It seems that the reload account isn't allowed to read the Seciton Access tables.

Check the Document Log for more information.

No. If you don't have access to the engine of your car because the hood has been welded shut, you cannot get it to run again.

Do you have access to the QMC?
