Reloading Tech

I have a 4 Qvw files in Server .Is it possible to reload the Qvw from local system using batch file..

Please help on this..

Hi,

you could use EDX or client.

In the first scenario you have to download the qmsedx.exe, create the windows group "Qlikview EDX", add the user to this group, create the schedule on the management console and then launch the exe from the batch. Using EDX in QlikView 11

Otherwise, you have to launch the local qv.exe QlikView Maven: QlikView Command Line and Automation

Hi Sudhakar,

I would look at doing the batch reloads and not use QV.exe for reloads. There are a lot more options that you can do with it. The best write up on it is in the Version 10 Reference Manual that is attached.  Checkout page 195 and this doesn't cost you a User CAL.
